WHAT IT IS ABOUT:

Digitalization offers new opportunities for manufacturing companies to positively influence the company's positioning on the market. A smart factory can expand cost leadership through increased transparency and optimized processes. Radically leaner order processing processes or new services in the after-sales area strengthen the customer benefit. In sales, customer contacts can be intensified through the Internet and intermediaries can be eliminated in order to expand market leadership. The central success factor here is the choice of the right orientation and the coordination of the different areas and departments in the company.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Lectures, case studies and interactive workshop elements demonstrate the various design elements of a digitally optimized value creation system using practical examples. How does a smart factory work to produce faster, more flexibly and more cost-effectively? What opportunities does digitalization create that can be used to design the customer interface and the innovation process more effectively? And how can sales be increased through intelligent products and new business models? After an overview of the options, we also consider the process of digital transformation: How do you get from vision to breakthrough goals, how can you derive initiatives from it and what role does agile project management play? Get to know tried and tested methods and tools to develop your own digital strategy for your company quickly and effectively.
