Sebastian Denef is CEO of OWN.space, a startup based in Berlin, Germany that is the winner of the SAP/Capgemini startup program and the Innogy IPRIZE. Furthermore, he is a visiting professor for human-computer interaction with artificial intelligence at Innopolis University, Russia. As a research fellow at Fraunhofer, he published articles and books in the field of safety-critical IoT. Prior he worked as innovation manager for iconmobile Group, pioneering mobile apps. Sebastian received a PhD in Industrial Design Engineering from Technical University Delft, the Netherlands and, as a scholar of the German National Academic foundation, a degree in Media System Design from University of Applied Sciences, Darmstadt.
